Aero Gearbox International (AGI) has announced that it will create 100 additional jobs at its production facility in Ropczyce near Rzeszów. The plant is expected to be the sole supplier of gearboxes for the engines made by Rolls-Royce, including a new model of engine Trent 7000.
AGI is a joint venture created by Rolls-Royce and Hispano-Suiza (Safran) in 2015. In 2016, the company announced a business expansion plan resulting in the creation of 100 jobs; at the moment, AGI employs 50 people in Ropczyce.
