Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
TPV, a company located in Novo mesto (Jugovzhodna region) and operating on the global automotive industry market, will build a new manufacturing and logistics centre in Velika Loka due to increasing orders. As a result, 110 new workers are going to be hired.
TPV is an innovative supplier of car components (like body, chassis, and seat components), automated guided vehicles, light car trailers and similar. The group has five production sites in Slovenia and one in Serbia employing more than 1,200 people altogether.
The new manufacturing and logistics centre in Velika Loka will become operational by the end of this year when 110 workers will be hired in addition to 320 workers already employed in the same site. The whole investment up to 2020 will amount to € 20.3 million.
