Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On Thursday 30 March 2017, the Germany-based engineering and electronics company Bosch announced the plan to create 20,000 new jobs by the end of the year. New hires are planned mainly in the IT and software departments but more jobs will create also in manufacturing. Mechanical engineers and software developers will have particularly good chances.
Job creation is part of a global recruitment programme and Bosch will recruit world wide. Germany will benefit by around 3,400 new employees, India 3,100 and China 2,500.
Bosch currently employs around 375,000 employees worldwide.
