Description
On 30 March 2017, the German technology provider Bosch announced to create some 3,400 new jobs in 2017 in Germany. Job creation is part of a global recruitment programme which includes about 20,000 new jobs. About half of these positions will be created in IT and software departments to develop smart and integrated solutions. Apart from Germany, Bosch will also recruit some 3,100 new employees in India and some 2,500 in China.
Already in 2016, Bosch hired about 2,100 new staff members in Germany also mainly for its IT and software departments (see Bosch, 2016). Bosch currently employs around 390,000 employees in Germany.
