Description
Slovak automotive components producer, Matador Automotive, has opened its new aluminium alloy production facility in Nitra Dolne Krskany in Slovakia. Its daughter company, Matador Automotive Vrable, invested €22.40 million into the new facility where 170 new jobs have been created. The government supported the investment through a €4.9 million state subsidy. According to the President of Matador Group, Stefan Rosina, the business expansion is attributed to the increasing demand in the automotive industry. Presently, Matador manufactures parts for car producers such as Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi and Suzuki. The new facility would also like to be the supplier of Jaguar Land Rover, which is setting up a factory in the same region. Currently, Matador Automotive has 1,200 employees and a further 250 people are employed via agencies.
