Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Swedbank, one of the major Swedish banks, is to create 100 new jobs at its non-financial services centre in Vilnius in 2018. The company plans to employ specialists in the fields of finance and IT. The centre provides services to the entire Swedbank group which owns more than 500 branches with around 14,000 employees in Sweden and the Baltic states. Previously Swedbank announced its intention to create 400 jobs by the end of 2017 (see Swedbank 2016 LT).
In total Swedbank group employs more than 14,000 employees in Sweden and the Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia).
