Bristol based energy company Ovo Energy has announced that it is to make 100 redundancies in response to losses across the business. The company, which was founded in 2009, supplies gas and electricity to 680,000 domestic customers. The job cuts will be predominantly taken from the mobile sales team, who are based in various locations such as shopping centres across the UK, with a small number of losses also expected from the Bristol head office. It is understood that the redundancies will take place with immediate effect.
