Description
UPM Paper, the world's leading paper manufacturer announced the cuts of up to 108 jobs in several UPM’s European sites. The company employs 8,000 people in Europe and North America. This job reduction is a further rationalisation measure and follows the recent decision to close production at two paper plants, one in Augsburg, Germany, which has been completed at the end of 2016 and one in Steyremühl, Austria which has been closed in the first quarter of 2017.
The company confirms that the plan have no effect on production and will affect supply, customer service, sales, and technical customer service teams.
