European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The German automotive supplier ElringKlinger is building a plant in Kecskemét (home of Mercedes Benz's Hungarian car manufacturing factory), by means of a EUR 21 million (HUF 6,5 bn) investment. The new 10,000 square metre plant will produce thermal shielding panels for cars and production will start by the end of 2017. ElringKlinger is creating 700 jobs at the new factory. The German company has been present in Kecskemét for 25 years.
