Description
The American company Chassix, the leading global manufacturer of aluminium and iron cast and machined chassis sub-frame automotive components, is to build a new plant in Ostrava and create up to 350 new jobs. The new plant, which will be the Chassix's first foundry for aluminium chassis for passenger cars in Europe, is to start operation at the beginning of 2018. The total investment of Chassix stands at EUR 46.51million.
Globally, Chassix has 24 factories in seven countries and employs 4,500 people.
