Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Sogeti, a Capgemini's subsidiary specialised in IT engineering and services, plans to recruit 650 people in 2017, including 600 in its subsidiaries in the area of Toulouse where it employs already 3,000 people, mainly specialised in the space and aeronautic industry. The remaining 50 positions will be created in Montpellier, where Sogeti employs already 350 employees. 60% of the jobs are opened to junior roles and all positions are on permanent employment contract. The positions include IT designers and developers, administrators and systems engineers, network security staff, project managers, and IT consultants. Sogeti is part of the group Capgemini that employs 23,000 people in France and 190,000 worldwide.
