Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
E-commerce services company eShopWorld is planning to create 250 new jobs in Dublin by the end of 2019. The jobs are described as being full-time and highly-skilled, based in technical development and research and development activities. The company produces software for online retailers that helps tailor services for different countries. Founded in Dublin in 2010, eShopWorld currently has around 150 staff, after taking on 80 recruits in 2016.
