Description

The Management Board of Polish insurance company PZU SA has announced that together with its subsidiary PZU Życie will implement a collective dismissal programme affecting up to 956 jobs across Poland. The programme will be implemented between 24th March and 17th December 2017 and it will apply to all types of activities of the company. Currently, PZU is negotiating with the local trade unions about the conditions of the programme; the company offers to redundant workers will receive a severance pay on top of the one due under the collective redundancies. An outplacement programme is also on the table to help affected workers find a new job.

PZU Group is a leader on the insurance market and one of the largest financial institutions in Poland.
