Description

The Indian multinational company Sakthi is opening a new factory in Águeda, which will lead to the creation of 135 new jobs. The business expansion involves a €36 million investment. In addition to the 135 jobs created at the factory, the investment is expected to generate more than 500 jobs indirectly. Automotive components, namely for brake, transmission, suspension and motor systems, will be produced at the factory. The factory was officially opened on 18 February 2017.
