Description
Marel Slovakia, a subsidiary of the Icelandic company Marel, will create 130 new jobs by the end of 2018 — 120 jobs in production and 10 jobs in administration. The company is expanding its factory in the Nitra-Sever industrial park where it makes hi-tech equipment and production lines for the processing of fish, poultry, pork and beef in the meat industry. Presently, the company employs 220 workers at the site. Marel has operated in Slovakia since 2005.
