Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The ground handling service company BUDPORT Handling Kft. is implementing a development plan of HUF 1 bn (EUR 3,24 million) from its own resources at Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport. This includes purchasing ground support equipment and machinery – tugs, tractors, transporters, mobile stairs, etc. - to service any type of aircraft. Reporting HUF 232 million (EUR 0,75 million) profit on HUF 1,357 bn (EUR 4,4 million) revenue in 2015, BUDPORT is currently employing 100, which is expected to rise to 250 by the end of May 2017.
