Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

On 1 February 2017, German car producer Mercedes-Benz announced to create 150 new jobs at its site in Bremen. The newly hired employees were already working at the production site from Mercedes-Benz, but were initially hired through temporary agencies. The jobs in Bremen were created at the series production for electric mobility cars, especially the new EQ electric car. Mercedes-Benz aims to release at least 10 different electricity cars until 2025.
The site in Bremen is currently producing ten different models with 12,500 employees working there.
