Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Manufacturer of parts and components for motor vehicles International Automotive Components Group (IACG) has announced that it will create 550 jobs at its new plant in Opole (WaĆbrzych Special Economic Zone, Poland) in 2017. The construction works started in January 2017 and production is set to start in 2017. The estimated value of the investment reaches USD 20 million (EUR 18.54 million). The plant will produce a range of premium hand-made components for car cockpits.
IACG, headquartered in Luxembourg, has over 100 production facilities in over 20 countries employing 30,000 people.
