Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The management of Carglass, the largest company in the replacement and automobile repair of glazing, announced the recruitment of 400 technicians by the end of 2017 to support its development. Carglass has increased the number of its centres the last four years from 230 in 2012 to 450 in 2016. 40 were opened in 2016. There is no required diploma to be recruited and each hired employee will receive at least a four-weeks training to reach the required qualification. A former recruitment plan was recorded in 2006 with 200 job creations.
