Description

Safilo, the Italian manufacturer of sunglasses, fashion and sports eyewear with headquarters in Padua, has announced the reorganisation of its branch in Ormož (Podravska region). As a consequence, 228 out of 846 workers will be made redundant. In agreement with the trade union and work council, the management has started to establish layoff criteria taking into consideration professional and social aspects. Redundancy plan will be carried out in several phases until March.
