Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The 3sun Group has announced plans to create more than 100 technician roles to undertake work on a new contract to service off-shore and on-shore wind farms. The company, which is based in Great Yarmouth, is holding a recruitment event and successful applicants will receive training at the company's own training academy. The recruitment follows the award of new contracts worth approximately GBP 6 million (€7 million). When the new positions are filled, the number of technicians working for the company will number 300. The timeframe for filling the new positions has not been reported.
