The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Western Union, a company operating in international money transfer services, is expanding its activities in Lithuania and will create around 300 new jobs at the global operations centre in Vilnius by the end of 2017. Currently the global operations centre in Vilnius employs around 1,600 employees.
Western Union is one of the largest global payment services providers with a combined network of over 500,000 agent locations in 200 countries and territories.
