Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish producer of windows and doors Eko-Okna has announced that it will create 900 jobs at its production facility in Racibórz. The company is looking for production staff (750 positions), marketers and office staff (100 positions), drivers (50 positions), candidates with knowledge of foreign languages, especially German, French, Dutch and Italian in the sales department.
Eko-Okna was founded in 1998; it produces PVC, wooden and aluminium windows and doors. Currently, the company has two factories, located in Racibórz and Kornice and employs over 2,400 people. The company provides its products to clients in fourteen European countries.
