The South Korean company Kiswire, a global manufacturer of steel wire and cables, is to create up 300 new jobs with the opening of its new production facility at the Triangle industrial zone in Žatec on 15 December 2016. The Czech factory, which will produce wire bead for automobile tires, is to employ in 2017 up to 80 people in production and administrative positions. The number of newly created jobs should further increase up to 300 in the coming years.
Globally, Kiswire has sites in 15 countries and employs 6,000 workers worldwide. Its products are exported to more than 80 countries.
