RMS Group Services, which transports cash in secure vans, has announced that it is to create 100 new jobs in Belfast. The move is part of plans which will create 300 jobs across the company, which currently employs 245 people across its three sites in Belfast, Dublin and Slough. Although the firm has confirmed that 100 of the jobs will be based in Belfast, there is no information available about how the remaining 200 jobs will be allocated between Dublin and Slough. The company has been able to invest in more staff after securing a GBP 1.25 million (€1.5 million) loan from the Growth Loan Fund, which is administered by the Northern Ireland Government. It is understood that the jobs are to be added over a five year period.
