European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The textile company Veba Broumov has announced that it will hire at least 100 new employees within the next two years. Recruitment has already started. According to the director of the company, a difficult period of losses, layoffs and downturn in production is slowly coming to an end. The company is now expanding its market beyond western countries. The textile factory focuses mainly on cotton brocade for the African market and textiles for Gulf countries. 5% of the company production is based in Czech Republic.
