Clothing retailer Primark has announced that it is to create 100 new jobs when it opens its store in Shrewsbury. The opening of the store, in the town's Darwin Shopping Centre, is scheduled for late spring or early summer 2017, with work on renovation currently underway. The store will cover over 30,000 square feet, over two floors, as it comprises nine retail units which have been vacated by other businesses. As part of the refurbishment, the shopping centre has also had general updating and improvement work.
