European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Pipistrel, a Slovenian light aircraft manufacturer based in Ajdovščina (Goriška region), is going to create 130 new jobs as a result of its expansion to China and Asian markets. Pipistrel will produce 100 new aircrafts, 50 of two different models (Alpha Electro and Panthera), as part of an agreement with the Chinese company Sino. The increased production, together with new research and development activities and the provision of other services to Sino, will require hiring in Slovenia additional workers (80 production workers and 50 engineers).
