Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Dutch provider of machines for the tyre industry VMI Poland has announced that it will create almost 400 jobs at its new production facility in Leszno. The unit is expected to be operational in June 2017. The factory will produce machines for the tyre industry. The company will look for electricians, mechanists, mechatronics staff, programmers and warehouse staff.
VMI Poland is a part of VMI Group, which provides machines to production of tyres, cans, rubber and care products. The group employs more than 1,200 people around the world, with factories in the Netherlands, Germany, the USA, China, Brazil and Poland. VMI has been operating in Poland since 2015.
