European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Ria Blades, a company that produces wind turbines, will invest €16 million in its unit situated in Vagos, in the north of Portugal. This will be the fourth expansion of the company in Portugal, which currently employs 1,100 workers. With this expansion, 400 new jobs will be created during 2017. According to the Mayor of Vagos, this expansion reinforces the importance of investments of this nature and shows that the population of the municipality has increased in the last 15 years.
