Description
Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM announced investments of €25 million at its headquarter in Mattinghofen, Upper Austria, creating 100 new high-skilled jobs in the medium term. The investment forms part of the company's strategy to foster and increase its research and development division and support global business expansion. KTM is planning to expand its current research centre by the end of 2017 and all motorcycles from HTM and Husqvarna will be developed there. Currently, KTM employees 522 people in the R&D sector in Mattinghofen. This year KTM also established a new site in Munderfing, close by the headquarter, employing 180 people.
The company currently employs 5,069 staff worldwide of which 3,916 are employed in Austria.
