Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Steria, an IT consultancy company, has announced its plan to recruit 2,300 employees in 2017 on permanent employment contracts. 30% of the workforce will be recruited in Ile-de-France and the rest in different sites all over France. The company is also offering 350 work-study contracts (concluded for over 6 months) and 1,000 internships with the possibility of future employment for the half of them.
Steria, founded in 1969, provides consulting services for its clients' core business processes in different fields as software publishing, consulting, security, infrastructure management and technology service. It develops and operates information systems for its clients. The company has 38,000 employees working in 20 countries. It is listed on the Euronext Paris market.
