General Electric (GE), an American multinational conglomerate corporation, will have created 400 new highly qualified IT jobs in Budapest by 2017 by opening a HUF 8 billion (EUR 26 million) Global Digital Development Centre. GE is the largest American investor and employer in Hungary. The company has 9,000 employees in manufacturing and additional 1,500 employees in digital industry in Hungary.
