Description
Polish construction company Trakcja PRKiL has announced that it will cut 300 jobs via a collective dismissal programme by the end of June 2017. The restructuring programme results from the delays in the realisation of railway infrastructure investments and the related tendering processes: the main customer of Trakcja PRKiL has been the national railway operator PKP/Polish - State Railways (90% of orders). Moreover, the company is facing a lack of orders from other customers. The company revealed that the programme is part of the strategy to optimise the organisational structure.
Trakcja PRKiL is one of the largest companies operating in the infrastructure and energy construction sector in Poland.
