Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish producer of tractors and agricultural machinery Ursus has announced that it will create between 100 and 150 jobs at its facility in Lublin. The company is looking for production workers, design engineers, marketers, financial controllers and accountants. The restructuring programme is associated with the company’s plan to increase its production capacity. The company has also revealed that it will create a vocational school at the plant to provide education related to the automotive industry in the region.
Ursus was founded in 1893; currently the company has production plants in Lublin, Dobre Miasto, Biedaszki Małe near Kętrzyn and Opalenica and employs about 1,000 workers.
