Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Polish meat processing company QFG has announced that it will create between 200 and 300 new jobs at its new production facility in Pionki. The plant, which consists of about 8,000 m2, was launched in September 2016. Manufacturing plants QFG in Pionki and Białobrzegi are considered the most innovative in Poland.
The company has been operating since 2010 and it specialises in production of frozen, chilled and pasteurised meat and poultry meal. Currently, the company has two plants Pionki and one in Białobrzegi. 80% of QFG production is delivered to European markets, and only 20% to the Polish market.
