Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Croatian company Energija Biotoplina has revealed plans to invest over HRK 260 million ( EUR 34.71 million) in the bio-gas power project in Krizevci. A total of HRK 93 million (EUR 12.41million) has already been invested in the two new bio-gas power plants, Organica Kalnik 1 and Orehovec, that were opened on 23 September 2016.
Full completion of the project is expected by May 2017, and which envisages completion of an additional four power plants. The project will create around 100 new jobs. Due to the location of bio-gas plants in underdeveloped rural areas of Koprivnica-Krizevci, Virovitica-Podravina and Osijek-Baranja County, this investment is of great importance for local employment possibilities and local development.
