Description
The private non-profit psychiatric hospital Sainte Marie in Nice is to cut about 300 positions out of a total of 1,200, in the framework of a reorganisation decided by the Regional Health Authorityl. This institution is the main private employer in the department of Alpes Maritimes. The plan is to reorganise the psychiatric activities within the department between Sainte Marie which currently covers seven sectors out of thirteen (but would loose two) and the public hospitals of Nice and Antibes. The hospital Sainte Marie is the only institution in the department to take in captives with psychiatric diseases.
