Description
UGT FICA, the Federation of Industry of the General Workers Confederation (UGT) has presented a collective dismissal scheme for 110 employees, around 50% of their staff. UGT FICA offers a redundancy payment of 25 days per year worked with a maximum of 13 months. The scheme has been severely criticised by the employees. They consider that the trade union is actually applying the labour reform which it then opposes at the core of the strategy and activities of UGT.
