GreenFiber International, part of Green group, the largest integrated recycling park in south-eastern Europe, is to open its third production facility in Urziceni in the first quarter of 2017 where 1,000 new jobs will be created. The company has invested EUR 35 million in the new plant, which will produce synthetic fibres made out of 100 percent recycled PET in Romania.
The new plant will have continuous activity throughout the year, organized in two shifts, creating new jobs for residents in Urziceni and those from neighbouring cities. The company also plans to make a new investment to double the production capacity of the plant by 2018.
Since it was established in 2006, the company invested more than 25 million euro in three production lines, of which two are based respectively in Iasi and Buzau.
