Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Global supplier of automotive systems, modules and other components ZF TRW (former TRW Automotive) has announced that it will create 180 new jobs at its shared services centre in Częstochowa. The centre has been already moved into a new building in the city. The company plans to transfer all financial and accounting processes from its European units to the centre in Częstochowa.
ZF TRW was acquired by ZF Friedrichshafen AG in 2015. The company has production facilities in more than 20 countries and 22 technical centres worldwide.
In Poland, ZF TRW has plants in four Polish locations: Częstochowa, Gliwice, Czechowice-Dziedzice (all of these facilities are located in the Katowice Special Economic Zone) and Pruszków near Warszawa employing about 6,500 people. In Częstochowa, the company has been operating since 1990 and employs 4,500 workers at two factories and the financial centre.
