Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Romanian software solutions provider AROBS Transilvania Software is to hire 100 new staff by the end of the year.
Voicu Oprean, the owner of the company has announced the intention to purchase a number of businesses with Romanian capital in the sales automation, business Intelligence and car fleet monitoring segments. Specifically, the company is prepared to invest up to EUR 3mn (USD 3.35mn) in order to diversify its product portfolio.
The company has an employee base of 600, a number which is expected to increase to 700 by the end of 2016.
AROBS Transilvania Software was founded in 1998 in Cluj Napoca. The company currently operates four local offices in Cluj-Napoca, Bucuresti, Iasi and Oradea and two international offices in Chisinau (Republic of Moldova) and Budapest (Hungary).
