Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Husqvarna Manufacturing CZ, global manufacturer of motor tools for gardens, parks and forests, is planning to expand its production in Vrbno pod Pradědem and create 100 new jobs. The company will build a hall for the production of garden robotic mowers with an investment of CZK 50 million (EUR 1.850 million). Production should begin at the end of 2017.
The region has an unemployment rate of 8.9%.
The reason for the expansion of production lies in the fact that the Czech Republic is in the middle of Europe and close to the major Husqvarna markets, which are Germany and France.
Globally, Husqvarna Group currently employs more than 13,000 people in 40 countries.
