Bus and coach manufacturer, Alexander Dennis will create 101 new jobs at its factory in Falkirk in Scotland after receiving a grant for research and development from the Scottish Government’s economic development agency, Scottish Enterprise. The grant is for the amount of £7.3 million (approximately €8.64 million) and will be used by the company to accelerate its carbon vehicles programme. The company currently employs 900 people and the company has said that the grant will also help secure a further 126 existing jobs.
