Åkers Sweden is reducing its workforce by 58 employees in order to adjust production capacity to the current market. The company is currently the second largest employer in the region. Negotiations are underway with the unions concerning the 50 blue-collar workers and 8 the white-collar workers that are affected by the cuts.
