European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Medical devices manufacturer, VistaMed, is creating 163 new jobs at its facility in Co Leitrim.
The company expansion follows a €10m investment, which involves setting up a new 45,000 sq ft research and development facility in Carrick-on-Shannon.
Recruitment for the new jobs is underway with 37 of the 163 jobs already filled. The new roles are expected to be filled by the end of 2018.
VistaMed makes braided catheter systems, as well as providing thermoplastic extrusions for the stringent catheter tubing requirements for minimally-invasive procedures.
