European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
TZorg, a provider of home care services (mainly housekeeping and light care work), has been selected by the bankruptcy administrator, the examining judge, and the relevant municipalities to take over the personnel and clients of Solace ATC, which went bankrupt in July 2016. All 225 employees lost their jobs at the time, but all over 200 remaining employees will become employed by TZorg starting on 15 August 2016. Contrary to the trade union FNV's wishes, labour conditions will be somewhat lower than when they were working for Solace ATC. TZorg is active all over the Netherlands, and has in recent years taken over personnel from other home care providers including Zorggroep, Careyn, and TSN.
