Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
American multinational company Johnson & Johnson, operating in the consumer medical and pharmaceutical products sector, is to expand its staffing at its expanded Prague facility and create 300 new jobs. The company is looking for graduates and senior management for its shared services centre. Recruitment of the new staff has already started. The reason given for the expansion in the Czech Republic is the availability of qualified individuals, its strategic location within Europe, a positive business environment and the successful ten-year track record of the Prague centre which employs around 450 professionals from 43 countries.
