Co-op supermarkets are creating 100 new jobs as part of plans to expand their presence in Merseyside. A new store is due to open on 11 August 2016 and across the region the company will be hiring 100 new staff before the end of 2016. Management as well as customer service roles are available. A number of the roles will be part-time positions which the co-op believes will be attractive to those with caring responsibilities, as well as students and those who are semi-retired.
