European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Romanian pharmaceutical distributor Polisano Distributie, part of the health care group Polisano, is to dismiss between 100 and 200 employees (out of a total of 460). The group has not excluded the possibility of insolvency for its distribution division. After negotiations with the unions, it was decided that the collective redundancy plan is to be implemented in September 2016.
Polisano Distribution has been facing liquidity problems which will require adjustments and cuts of operational costs.
